Evan Roberts was born in the Midland-Odessa area and later relocated to Austin, where he now lives with his aunt. As Brandon Guinn’s nephew, Evan found his way to Simple Promise Farms and quickly became a valued part of the team.
Evan enjoys working on the farm because it allows him to stay active, work with his hands, and connect with others who are on their own journeys of growth and recovery. He takes pride in contributing to a positive, supportive environment where people are working to better their lives.
His favorite tasks on the farm include harvesting, seeding, and helping with aesthetic improvements that keep the space looking welcoming and cared for. While his favorite vegetable is green beans, he’s still holding out hope they might make an appearance on the farm one day.
Outside of the farm, Evan enjoys playing pool and spending time with friends. He truly loves being part of the farm community and the sense of purpose it brings to his everyday life.
